Community Learning brings social work practice together with Indigenous knowledge, ceremony and teachings — moving from helping to healing, grounded in wahkohtowin, the natural law of kinship and relational responsibility.
Community Learning Hours
Diploma students complete Community Learning I (300 hours) and Community Learning II (400 hours). IBSW students complete Community Learning in the Spring term of each year. You are supported by your Community Learning Coordinator and your Community Learning Facilitator at the agency.
