Indigenous Social Work Diploma
Your foundation in social work practice
Duration & Schedule
2 years full-time
Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
Online options available for students 100+ km away
Entry Requirements
- High school graduation or mature student status
- English 30-1 minimum 65% (or equivalent)
- 100 hours volunteer/work experience in human services (previous 5 years)
- $75 application fee
Accreditation & Credentials
Accredited through Alberta College of Social Workers. Graduates can pursue professional registration in Alberta.

- Social Work diploma or related diploma/degree
- Minimum 60 transferable college/university credits
- Identify a Knowledge Keeper/Elder mentor
- $75 non-refundable application fee
Accreditation & Recognition
Accredited by the National Indigenous Accreditation Board (NIAB) and recognized by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education.
